In 627 B.C.E., Jehovah placed his words in the mouth of a priest from Anathoth by the name of Jeremiah, the son of Hilkiah. This new prophet like Moses was set over nations and kingdoms to root out, pull down, destroy, throw down, to build, and to plant (Jeremiah 1:10).

In 622 B.C.E., a scroll was discovered in the Temple. It was no less than the Torah, written by the hand of Moses. Jeremiah figuratively ate the words of the newly found scroll (Jeremiah 15:16) and went about his divinely assigned mission of declaring the end of the kingdom of Judah and a future, glorious new beginning drawn by the prophet from the ancient words of the Moses Scroll.
