In this third class of the Messiah Series, Ross picks up with a study of the Messiah King. He works through the promises to David the son of Jesse and to his sons. Ross begins with the promise of a house for David. What does the phrase “Beth David” mean? What is the significance of this house with regards to a study of the messiah? Do we have any indication from passages about this “house” as to the identity of the messiah? Were the promises to David conditional or unconditional? The class concludes with the separation of 10 tribes from the House of David and with a belief that the oath to David has been forgotten. Join us next week as we continue in what the Psalmist calls the footsteps of the messiah.
