In this teaching Ross expounds on the subject of love of and for God. Countless people claim to love God. Most people of faith will confess that they believe that God’s love is one of His greatest qualities. Some even associate God with love, saying that God IS love. What does the Bible say about the love of and for God? In this class, Ross focuses on the subject. He begins by showing that several Hebrew words are translated as “love” in the English Scriptures. He demonstrates the meanings of these words, but the content of the class is on the Hebrew word Ahav. How is this word used in the Hebrew Bible? How are we to understand love – ahav, in context? Is love an emotion void of action? These questions and more are covered in this teaching.
