In this week’s class, Ross covers material from the 5th of the ancient triennial cycle readings (Genesis 6:9-8:14). This teaching is the first of a three-part series on Noah, and deals primarily with the character of Noah. What was it that set Noah apart from the people around him? Why was it that Noah found favor in God’s eyes? In this teaching, Ross takes a close look at what Scripture says about Noah. Many have suggested that Noah was a preacher of righteousness. Does the texts support this? The Torah tells us that Noah was a just man (righteous) in his generation. Can one be righteous? We have heard that none is righteous, no not one. Does the Bible support this? These and other points are explained in this class.
