In this week’s study, Ross covers material from Genesis 15. The chapter is introduced as vision and so Ross develops the idea based upon the plain reading of the text and thereby treating the continuous narrative as a vision. He explores the various words in the Hebrew texts used to define “seeing” things not seen by others, and also shows that behind the English translations there are often errors in translating the various terms. He then works through the vision offering possible meanings to this ancient vision – a vision that contained a dark message for the patriarch Abram.
